I’ve Loved Joffrey with a passion for almost the whole duration of the series because of his cruelty and vileness, but this moment made me realise that even though he’s still a kid (about 16 at the start of the series, so he’s about 17 now:TV Show wise) and he still needs *paternal* guidance in the chaos of his war. That was his most (and only) vulnerable moment in the series (so far) and you can hear the helplessness in his voice because he realises that his bravado and war fantasies are to no avail because, again, he’s still a kid and he’s had no experience on the battlefield. Much Love Joffrey!
